3/29

Nothing much was gonna happen so decided to take the day off.

3/28

Today was somewhat emotional as it was Gilly's ceremony today along with there being a stress EOC which weirdly enough was cut short as soon as the advisement period was next which more than likely was because of the ceremony for Gilly, we didn't know each other very well and didn't have the best friendship but he did have a way of connecting with people and I'll admit, he was a funny guy, Rest in Peace Gilly♥️

3/27

Not even gonna try and change anything, same Wednesday and same routine, more talking and longer classes, can't wait for the break so I get at least 1 week to myself with no none stop talking

3/26

This Tuesday was a bit different but wasn't too bad, yes we did do more claim understanding but besides that today was an assembly which I didn't even bother listening too as it isn't entirely worth listening to the same driving rules that 99% of people know but a portion don't care

3/25

Another week but the week before spring break, more reading and more claims,.I swear these claims get excessive really easily and get more complicated and longer as time goes on but as mentioned before, easy grades.

3/22

Another Friday, can't recall off the top of my head but was largely more claims and reading assignments, there annoying yes but easy grades so it's not completely annoying

3/21

We had to write 1 of our claims on a sheet of paper, it could either be a supporting or opposing claim on the topic's of sport compensation or social media, chose mine on sport compensation, we did have to add textual evidence and describe the evidence while making sure it was talking directly about the claim, afterwards we had to read other people's work and critique on whether or not it was good or needed some changes.

3/20

Like most Wednesday's its usually the same, longer classes, more talking and more work, so it's largely uninteresting or boring to find anything remotely interesting to talk about on Wednesday's.

3/19

Just like the previous day's we got an assignment to give our claims evidence from different articles of specific claims, sports, social media, etc. Despite that its only 4 and requires you to simply give evidence on your supporting and opposing claims which at least is an easy and non-excessive understanding.

3/18

Another week, just learned how to write claims with different examples on ideas and were told to give 2 different claims that were either supporting or against said claims with some examples such as "School uniforms, social media, parent's checking devices" etc.

3/15

The end of the week, all we did was answer questions about Degrees in college and answer questions seeing whether or not their claims are beneficial or harmful, while its several questions (10 to be exact) it's simple as long as you know what the article is about and what claims are being made in said article.

3/14

Another Thursday, another Newsela about hitting the snooze button being beneficial to your sleep even though I never hit the snooze button and simply let the alarm blare or just sleep right through the alarm without an issue.

3/13

Another Wednesday, do i even have to explain what its like anymore? It's like every other Wednesday, more and more talking due to more classes and additional work to do which while annoying is usually just one assignment.

3/12

Another Newsela, one being about fast food being run by school students and the effect it has taken on those who worked due to long hours and negligence combined with the effort of preventing or encouraging this type of work.

3/11

Another week, we decided to do a Newsela over robotics in the work industry and seeing how it has affected jobs as a whole showing examples, benefits, pros and cons, etc, about how robot's handle the jobs humans use to do. Largely split on the idea of robotics' taking over human jobs but also the robots themselves, especially after the Tesla and Robot 23 incident.

3/6

Turns out we had a benchmark today and most likely i forgot about when it was mentioned, besides that i got all the way to question 20 but struggled to finish that but more than likely it'll be finished tomorrow as Mr. Reese said we'll finish on Thursday.

3/5

A block day on a Tuesday, that's new, eh even if it is a day early it's still the same as every other day, longer talking and more learning but at least not that much work to do since most classes moved onto new topics and unit's but that lockdown drill made the day not as enjoyable.

3/4

While this week was supposed to be normal it isn't as we have a virtual learning day on Friday, meaning every block day is a day early but besides that we were originally going to read our poems to the class but due to the lack of time it was pushed indefinitely and instead we read a poem called "We are cool" and while it has some meaning to it, it's somewhat confusing but still surprisingly legible.

3/1

The end of the week that everyone was looking forward to, today was more like a free class if you already did your poem and jam board which I'll admit i haven't done yet as I'm somewhat confused on my own culture as i was told much but I'll still do it and perhaps find some info on how Honduran culture is like.
